WHAT IS ABOKI BOX?

Aboki Box is a cultural learning kit designed to surprise, delight and educate. This multi-sensory learning kit is developed to grow awareness and affinity for people of different cultures, heritages and groups. Through in-home subscriptions and school-based partnerships, our goal is to help children see similarities and relatability in the world around them and to foster charitable giving and compassion.

HOW ARE THE CONTENTS SELECTED?

The Aboki Box team works closely with nationals, artisans and cultural experts to identify, research and pick the best items to include in each box. We strive to curate culturally relevant items like language, art, music, food, history, traditions as well as exploring the fun and passion of a culture in toys, games and sports. We also work closely teachers and parents who have experience with our target age groups as well as test the products with children to ensure that we are resonating in a fun and engaging way.

WHEN DO SUBSCRIPTIONS SHIP?

Subscriptions ship bi-monthly (every other month).  Please allow 1 to 3 weeks once you place your order to receive your first package. 

WHERE DO WE SHIP?

Currently we ship anywhere within the United States.

WHEN AM I BILLED FOR MY SUBSCRIPTION PLAN?

You are billed for your first package on the day that you sign up for your subscription. Subsequent monthly charges will occur on the 15th of each month that the package ships so it is not necessary to reorder each month. Please note that we do bill in advance of packages being shipped in order to process the shipments.

WHAT IS CANCELLATION POLICY?

Subscriptions will continue until the subscription is fulfilled or you elect to cancel your subscription. You may elect to cancel your Subscription by logging into your account and cancelling the subscription or by emailing Aboki Box customer service at support@abokibox.com. Cancellation must occur by the 15th day of the month if you do not wish to receive the next scheduled month’s shipment. For example, if you sign up for a six-box subscription starting in January you would be scheduled to receive a shipment in January, March, May, July, September, and November. If you want to cancel boxes after May, you would have to cancel your subscription by the 15th of June. All Subscriptions are set to Auto-Renew and will continue for the initial term and then will automatically renew for successive periods equal to the initial term of the subscription. For example, a one-year subscription will renew at the end of the first year for an additional one-year period. Each Auto-Renewing Subscription will renew at the subscription rate in effect at the time of renewal. You may not cancel a pre-paid Auto-Renewing Subscription prior to the end of the subscription's current initial or renewal term. However, you may cancel the auto-renewal feature of the subscription by logging into your account and opting out of auto renew or by emailing Aboki Box customer service at support@abokibox.com. To be effective with respect to a renewal, your cancellation of the auto-renewal feature must take place no later than the 15th day of the month prior to the first month of the scheduled renewal term. You are responsible for all renewal charges incurred unless you cancel the auto-renewal feature by the 15th day of the month prior to the first month of the scheduled renewal term.

 

WHERE CAN I FIND OUT WHEN MY SUBSCRIPTION WILL END? 

Please email our Customer Support team at support@abokibox.com and they can provide you with the end date for your subscription.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE GIVING PROGRAM?

Each box will come with information on how to participate with our charity partners. Additionally, abokibox.com/partners will provide more information on our partners and link to their site for info on how to participate.

CAN I GIVE AS A GIFT?

Yes! Aboki Box makes for a wonderful gift for children and teachers. Just order as usual and put the recipient's name and address for delivery.

DO YOU PROVIDE GIFT WRAPPING?

Unfortunately, we do not provide gift wrapping at this time. 

IS SHIPPING FREE?

Shipping is free when you order the 6 box subscription.

CAN I PICK MY BOX THEME EACH MONTH?

Currently, we do not offer a box selection process. However, as we grow we will be able to offer this option.

CAN I SKIP A MONTH?

Yes, you can suspend your subscription by contacting us at hello@abokibox.com.  What are the advantages of buying a yearly subscription with 6 boxes vs pay-as-you-go boxes? In addition to the receiving one box free and free shipping, you can be chosen to have your cooking or craft video featured on the website/youtube channel (see how to submit below).

HOW DO I SUBMIT A COOKING OR CRAFTS VIDEO?

If you have signed up for the 6 boxes and are interested in a chance to be chosen as our video of the month (for either cooking or crafts) please submit video link to hello@abokibox.com with the subject line "video submission".

CAN I SUBMIT A BOX THEME OR RECOMMEND A CHARITY?

Yes, we welcome it and are always looking for new and amazing ideas. Please email us at hello@abokibox.com.
