We strive to help children see similarities and relatability in the world around them, even as they notice differences. We hope this relatability fosters curiosity, compassion and understanding. We know that as you learn about someone, chances are you begin to have an affinity, or love, for them. You care for their well-being. This makes you a better person, friend, and leader - and hopefully also encourages you to help and give back.
As adults, we realize just how big and small our world is at the same time. However, a child’s concept of the world can initially seem small - limited to their immediate surroundings and interactions. We want to help expand that concept by celebrating the world and its beautiful kaleidoscope of people.
We feel that kids who have a high cultural IQ will be more successful as they grow and, when they inevitably approach other cultures throughout life’s journey, they will do so with curiosity, confidence, and compassion.
